Welcome to the Advocacy and Activity Buddy training site.

This site will help you understand what is needed to become a volunteer and to support disabled people.

  • You will need to register by clicking on the 'Register' tab above.
  • If you have already registered click on the 'Log in' tab to log in.
  • You can access the AABS courses by clicking on the 'Courses' tab which will guide you through a series of Modules with multiple choice questions at the end of each module.
  • you must get 3 questions right to proceed to the next module. After finishing all 6 modules you will be automatically emailed a certificate of completion.

Do you need to set up a Volunteer Scheme?

If you are a club or group that would like to set up a volunteer programme to support to your disabled participants or to engage with more disabled people then AABS can assist you. A toolkit of over 25 resources and administration templates has been designed to give clubs and groups the knowledge and the confidence to run an effective volunteer scheme.

Find Volunteer Opportunities in your Area

Once you have completed the online volunteer training you may need some help finding somewhere to use your new skills. The EFDS regional managers are in touch with many disability sports clubs and groups around the country. Contact them today and find your nearest volunteer opportunity. Inclusive Training

Inclusive Training is the training arm of the English Federation of Disability Sport. We develop and deliver courses that raise the awareness of the needs of disabled people for partners such as local authorities, governing bodies of sport, schools, colleges and volunteers.
